I understand there is a lot to consider when trusting someone with the well being of your beloved pets. I'd be happy to elaborate on some of those concerns, and explain why we're different from the rest.
The main thing that sets Scoop It Up apart from other services is our attention to detail and the standard we hold for keeping your pets safe. We ALWAYS take the extra time to disinfect any equipment that touches your yard before we enter. We use a pet safe disinfectant on our shoes, rake, and scoop to prevent the spread of disease.
As we scoop the poop, we pay attention for any abnormalities in your dogs stool. Your dogs poop is a major indicator of their health, and should be monitored. Now that we're the ones picking it up, we check for you. If something is off, we notify you immediately so you can provide them the care they need.
We require all pets who are territorial of their space or known to escape to be contained during the duration of our service. We do this to keep the technicians safe from injury, and to keep your pets from escaping the yard when we enter and exit your gate. Even if your dog is a good boy or girl, accidents do happen and we are not willing to risk their lives for that. I have first hand experience working in this industry under other companies who don't follow the same protocol. Technicians get bit, the dog gets a bite record, and dogs get ill from unsanitary practices.
Now... we still want to interact with your pets! We are dog lovers after all. We do this by occasionally leaving treats and gifts with client permission. We always ask if the dog has any sensitivities or allergies beforehand. We even give them a present for their birthday! We also love to be tagged in photos and videos on social media. Its a great way for us to see your pets enjoying their clean yard, and overall makes us happy.
Communication and Professionalism:
In order to ensure the client is prepared for our arrival, we send a reminder message the day prior to service. The day of service, we send an ETA in the morning, and another message when we are on our way to the client. We also contact them at the start of service, and when we finish, along with a picture of your closed gate so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog won't escape after our departure. We believe in thorough communication because we are entering your property and we take that responsibility seriously.
Overall, we started this company because the people (and dogs) of Oklahoma deserve more compassionate service. I'm here to bring my years of experience and knowledge of dog safety to where it matters most.
Your yard.
